002 - Official Kitchen Measurements

Let me start with the fact that I like cooking and baking… Having said that I'm always wrestling with those measurements like ‘tea spoon’, ‘table spoon’ and cup. I've got several teaspoons and they have multiple sizes. So which is the right one? I did some research and found multiple sources mentioning the sizes in milliliters which is what we need, isn't it? So I made a few measurement cups with the sizes in ml and the abbreviations used in english and dutch. To be certain I did it right, I tested the cups by filling them to the rim with water, except for the smallest one that is 1 ml because the libra is not that accurate. DISH WASHER: NO NO NO at least not at 75 degrees celsius, I tried that and they were all crooked after that. Cleaning them under the tap however was not a problem but you probably should not use a Quooker :) You can give the top 1mm of every cup a colour if you like (gold looks nice).
