So what I did was change the horizontal arm to allow a 1/4" mounting bolt as what is used on most tripods. I also removed the the cavity to strengthen the mount and also removed the level hole as I have a level on my tripod.

I bought an original plate and mount to add to this, so I also changed the transversal arm to include a 1/4" slot, again to be able to mount an original mount. I also removed the single hole, as I believe you need to slide the camera to set it.

The rest I kept the same using M5 bolts. Even though it is hard to get metric bolts in Canada, which is weird because we are a metric country, but way too tied to the states.

Anyway I hope this will help others out there.

so I printed these, and they worked great, but now I find the vertical arm bends too much, so will look at filling in the channel,

I have made changes so ALL bolts are now setup as 1/4", you will need to print 2 knobs, I did not work on the
