This is an support adapter designed to mimic the official Hasegawa 1/72 Macross Display Stand.
It was measured to fit the support pieces that come with the 1/72 kits (the VF-31J specifically), but should theoretically fit any models that are supposed to use this base.
The main structure attaches to the 1/144 Gunpla base by fitting into one of the straight or angled peg adapters. It can replicate a display angle similar to the original base, and the weight of the model will keep it from tipping over.
