This is a bracket used to make 1" PVC legs for a desktop riser (monitor shelf, monitor stand or whatever you want to call it).
You need to print 4 brackets and attach them to the bottom of a suitable board. Then cut 4 even lengths of 1" PVC pipe for the legs.
Each bracket requires 3 wood screws, use #6 or #8 of length 1/2"-3/4" depending on the thickness of your board material.
The legs on mine are about 6-1/2" tall. The taller you go, the more likely a hard lateral bump might cause the leg supports to break off so don't go too tall. I may do another design that includes an outer support for more strength, but this seems pretty solid for me.
You also might need to scale this a bit to get a snug fit in your PVC. One batch came out too small but a bit of tape increased the diameter slightly so the PVC was snug.
The feet are optional but make it easier to add a tacky material to keep the riser from sliding off the desk. I made the bottoms tacky using a thin film of hotme
