1 inch RAM mount ball adapter designed to fit exactly this part. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2669453 Thanks at this point, this is exactly what I needed. I want to use my spare S8 as a flight computer in my glider. Horizontal layer alignment in the part was out of question for aesthetic reasons. Because of the layer alignment the neck has a tendency to break in use, after printing. I provided a M6 threaded blind hole, 30mm in deep, into which a M6 threaded rod with Loctite is screwed in from behind. The connection is made with 4 M3x16 screws. I have recut all 5 threads, it works perfectly. If you have doubts, I recommend this interesting video https://youtu.be/iR6OBlSzp7I
