100% Printable and Tuneable Drum

This is a 100% printable drum with the option of using a TPU drum skin. The rim of the drum threads onto the shell of the drum allowing you to actively tighten or loosen the drum head to tune it. The shell allows you to combine 2 drum heads on either side similar to a standard drum. When using the TPU skin option (best for kick drum or tom toms) the skin needs to be printed in multimaterial. TPU for the flat skin part of the print and then a hard material (I used PLA) to print a stiff ring onto the tpu head to allow the drum's rim to grab onto the skin when tightening. This part can be achieved using the pause commeand at the 3rd layer where you can then switch to the hard filament. Alternatively, a PLA skin can be printed using the “One Piece Skin” model which will give you a more high pitched sound like a snare or smaller tom tom.
