1/4-20 Tripod-style Camera Mount

Based on my favorite old tripod, this mechanism seems to work better than various things people have tried since.

STL files are included for the basic configuration shown here. Some alternate cover plate designs are included in the 123d design file, as well as an example of a 45-degree mounting bracket.
