Multi-Mallet Crank Drum

When you turn the crank clockwise, the first gear shaft moves, and the connections between each shaft make the next one turn. The base gears cause each mallet to rise up, and the programmed slip in the base gears allows each mallet to fall and hit the center of the drum. Each of the shaft supports is designed to allow the gear shaft to spin without resistance, but all the while keeping the gears in line with each other.
