12864 LCD Housing (Case)

This is yet another housing for the 12864 Full Graphic Smart Controller LCD purchased from FolgerTech.

It attaches directly to the bottom of the frame and you can tighten the screws on the brackets as tight as you like so it won't flop around. Includes button and knob.

Screw the larger back brackets on first using spare M3 X 8 screws and nuts from your kit.Place LCD into the front, then place the back assembly on and screw in place with M3 X 20 (or slightly shorter) screws. You might need a washer or two behind a 20mm long screw.

Screw one frame bracket (thinner bracket with slots instead of holes) on using spare t-slot nuts from the kit then use the assembled housing to locate the position of the second frame bracket. Once attached, use two M3 X 30 bolts and nuts to attach the housing to the frame.

I just noticed that I mislabeled the brackets but I think it's self evident which goes where.
