13mm Spin Rocket

This is a minimum diameter model rocket designed for a 13mm Estes motor. It's a two fin design with the fins slightly angled to induce a spin. My version used a 26cm long piece of BT-5 I had laying around.

It's light, small and fast and should go about as high as it's possible to get on a 13mm motor.

For recovery use a streamer. I just used "tumble" recovery in mine and it came down straighter than I'd have liked. The rocket survived just fine though.
