Mexico City's first skyscraper, the Torre Latinoamericana!

MiniWorld celebrates Mexico City with this free model. With 188 m or 597 ft; 44 stories finished in 1956, it was the first skyscraper to be succesfully built on a highly-seismic location. It's name comes from the Seguros Latinoamericana insurance company, headquartered in the building. It was designed by architect Augusto H. Álvarez.
