This is a clip designed to hold the trash bag in place. It drives me crazy when the trash bag slips of the edge of trash can and you have to pull it out and put it back in place. It's even worse if nobody else pulls it out and trash just piles on top of the trash bag. This clip is designed to be placed at the top of the trash can and help hold the bag in place.
