I recently made my own quadcopter (found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1521672) and started messing around with angled motor mounts and really liked how it's so easy to fly fast. While trying different angles I settled on 15° and I'm very happy with the performance. The main part of the frame and arms is 6mm thick with the front/rear inner sections being 1.5mm thick and the middle inner section being 2.5mm thick. It will accept any 220X size motors with a 16x19mm mounting pattern and
