Architectural Profile for Post

This feature is only 1mm thick so it's very fragile but doesn't use much time or filament to print. Once you have printed it then fill it with expanding foam which will help to strengthen it and set it into place (with tape??) - wait until it sets. remove the tape, paint and away you go!
