This is intended for use within larger designs. You should upload the .step (or the .stl file, as a mesh) into your favourite CAD program, and merge it into your design. The value it intends to addsis it has been designed to accept a standard sized 1602 LCD display, secured with 4 M3x6 (or 5mm, or 7mm) bolts - so no need to mess around measuring stuff.
**NOTE 1:** I've uploaded .stl & .step files, so take your pick which you use.
**NOTE 2:** The 4 bolt holes have modeled M3 threads, 6mm deep, so you should be able to screw your M3 bolts in without any problems.
FYI: The "piggy back" board in the photos is an I2C adaptor (which I added to save GPIO pins in my project) - the LCD panel is just a standard 1602 LCD unit
