This is a 3D model of a Campanian Askos, a pottery vessel dating back to approximately 4th Century BC, from the collection of the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences. The Greek word ‘Askos’ refers to the animal-skin bags that were used to carry wine. This Askos was painted black and has original finger print marks around its rim.
