Two Bowls and an Ornament

Bowls and Ornaments based on solutions to the Thomson electron problem.

Circles were added to a sphere at points corresponding to the positions calculated for electrons as solutions to the Thomson problem. The openSCAD code includes other attempts to make attractive bowls and can be used to transfer objects centered on the xy plane to the surface of a sphere.
