I did it for mine purpose and i decided to share it.
I did for mine 16-80 Nikkor (72 mm) but i think it work with other 72 mm lenses (i think !).
I used 4 G4 Leds Extrastars.

I will creare a small adapter for small G4 leds.

U need a 12v 1A power supply too, like this one > http://fave.co/2d2NvnD where u've to cut wire and make some solder.

It works very fine ;)
