I started off by taking the 18650 Dispenser Light edition and bringing it into Tinkercad to modify it a bit. I'm still pretty new at this, so the alignment wasn't perfect, but not too bad either and go the job done.
I wanted to use a similar setup, but have it hold more batteries than the original version, without making it too much taller. The original light edition was printed in pink (see pictures) and the remix was printed in blue. I added some height and width to the main "holder" compartment so that the batteries stacked up almost next to one another, but not quite, so that it could hold more batteries, and also keep them paired up together as well. I added the honeycomb pattern to it to reduce the amount of plastic needed without compromising too much in terms of structural integrity. I extended the base in the back a bit to make sure it was stable as well when fully loaded with batteries.
This model holds 10 18650 sized batteries but is only about 40 mm taller than t
