2" Dimple Die

I had a need for a Dimple Die, but could not justify the cost for a one time project. So I set out to print one. After finding some design guidelines I made this.

Sadly the design did not turn out the way I wanted, And I did not really notice until after it was printed. So the die had sat around for awhile.

after experimenting with the 3d printed press brake die, I tried out the dimple die just to see how well it work, and look.

I was happy to see it worked as a 2" dimple die, and with a slightly smaller main hole, a different profile was achieved. so while the design is not ideal, it does work and proves that carbon Fiber Nylon is strong enough for tooling

all holes where pre-punched in 16g mild steel with a Greenlee Slug buster
