20 Sided Dice Lamp

Print consists of a lamp shade and a lamp base.

The shade consists of 20 prints of individual equilateral triangles, each with a different number from 1-20, that will need to be glued together at the edges. The edges are angled inward perfectly so that they assemble exactly as required to make the icosahedron shape.

5 of the triangles represent the bottom of the shade and have 1/5th of a central cylindrical shaft that, when assembled, will slide over the shaft on the lamp base. There is a sleeve that slides over the lamp shade central shaft, inside the shade, to add structural support. The central shaft of the shade will need to be sanded quite a bit to allow the sleeve to slide over it. The amount of sanding depends on how well you lined up the triangles when joining them. I glued the triangles first, then put the sleeve on, but a better process may be to put the sleeve on, then glue the triangles. This will probably save you some sanding.
