I wanted a very strong and compact bracket for securely mounting one piece of 2020 aluminum extrusion to another piece along its side.

If that's not described clearly then just look at the pictures. This assumes that the end of the overlapping piece will be flush with the side of the other piece, and that the hole in the center of that extrusion is tapped for an M5 screw.

I designed this because I had a length of 2020 extrusion that I wished to hang off the side of my D-bot to mount my extruders on, and I wanted it to be strong and stiff.

In the photos you see instances of these corner brackets printed out in carbon fiber/PETG. This is not necessary, but I wanted to try it out. It's extremely stiff.
