2020 Extrusion Thread Tapping Jig

Jig for tapping thread into the end of 20mm aluminium extrusion. Ensures the tap is at right angles to the extrusion. Works with 2020, 2040, 2060, and 2080 extrusion.

The size of the center hole of aluminium extrusion varies: some extrusion has a hole suitable for a 5mm screw, some has a hole suitable for a 6mm screw. There are two variants of the tap to support this.

Use the jig to start the tap, and once you have tapped about 10mm, unscrew your tap, remove the jig and then continue your tap to the desired depth.
