*this is a completed project. It is running successfully on my own printer and does not need any further refinement. This is an updated version of my original spool holder which replaces the four-wheeled design and adds an optional reverse bowden guide.*
Use an 8-32 threaded rod as an axle. Slide the spool axle (remove the skirt which I added to the STL) over the threaded rod and then insert the assembly into the wheel. Add 13mmx5mmx4mm bearings to each side (https://www.ebay.com/itm/10pcs-624zz-Steel-Sealed-Shielded-Deep-Groove-Ball-Bearing-4x13x5-Roller-Bearing/162442914585?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649). Repeat for the second axle. Insert the two axles into the arms and then bolt them to the base with m3x.5 10mm bolts. If you used the guide, you'll need m5x.8 20mm bolts. If you don't use the guide, you want 15mm. It mounts to 2020 extrusion with T slot nuts.
For the FT-6, there is a bowden tube guide in my designs.
