2025 Geely EX5 Plate Plug

From seeing my first Geely EX5 EV in early 2025, I couldn’t understand why they would leave four exposed license plate mounting bolts? They aren’t even “blacked” out! In my view they took away from the clean appearance of the design. Highly noticeable unfortunately. In looking closer, I decided to design and 3D print some basic (but precise) flat caps that fit flush to allow slimline plates to remain tight against the original mounting plate. These are a push fit and printed in ASA or ABS or a carbon fibre loaded filament. All UV stable and will last the lifetime of the EX 5. PLA or PTEG probably is not idea for these plugs longer term. To use them, just push them in….. Maybe add a dab of glue to totally hold them plus in place.
