Hello!
Here i have designed a simple test cube which can be used to calibrate your extruder and/or axis E-Steps!
It can be printed using less filament than some other test cubes
- The outer dimensions of the object are 20mm x 20mm x 20mm (L x W x H)
- Actual printed thickness of the walls should be 1mm as what corresponds to the 3D object. 1mm is approximately the thickness of two walls for a .4mm nozzle.
- As mentioned above, please use two walls for printing this to check wall adhesion
* The following formula can be applied to both flow rate and E-STEP calibration *
Calculations for calibration are as follows:
[(intended length)/(measured dimension)] x Current Value = New Value
