At approximately 1:00 PM on Monday, February 27th, 2017, Elon Musk, SpaceX founder, CEO, and CTO announced that, near the end of 2018, two private citizens will be launched to the moon. Musk said the rocket used will be a Falcon Heavy mounted with the Dragon V2 capsule, which will be the homes of these two billionaire space tourists for about seven days. The exact price has not been stated, but my personal estimate is approximately $60 Million per person.
