The Insta360 VR camera is probably the best low-cost mid-quality 360 camera currently on the market. The good news is the price is under $200, the bad news is, it's designed to fit only on an Iphone 6 or 7, not the 5S that I have. Fortunately, it can operate alone but has no way of holding it above your head, which is ideal for a typical 360 video.
