LG Kitchen Range Knob Part VER 1

This is my first 3D design. This part was designed in 123D Design. I made this for my mom, her Range knobs were broken (I guess this is a common problem).

I printed this with PLA but I have been doing some research I think this was the wrong filament to use, since it will be very close to heat. but I don't know if my printer can handle anything else. and I am also not sure what material to use :/
