Thanks to members of the community, we have been able to identify what this piece is. It is actually the same piece that is on Jyn's helmet during the raid on Eadu.

I designed this back box to fit onto Sean Fields Shoretrooper helmet which can be downloaded at www.shoretrooper.co.uk/files.
The AT-ACT driver is only in the film for about 3 seconds at about the 1:40:45 mark. The design on the back of the helmet is hard to see but there is a black box there.
