Make refilling that hopper less frequently.

Not a huge increase in volume since this is the tallest my cabinets allow, the coffee maker is very tall to begin with.

PLA is probably the better material, but I only have ABS. If you are unsure about what's in your ABS filament, just wrap around a layer of Aluminum Foil, not the prettiest to look at, but just to be safe.
