I did this for min Sony FDR-X3000r but probably it work in other Sony Cam with similar form-factor.
To mount u need:
- one 1/4'' screw like these http://fave.co/2ouks0i or http://fave.co/2ouhfOr (10 mm long)
- one gopro or similar helmet adapter: i use this one and i think it'is the best http://fave.co/2ouhQ2D or http://fave.co/2ouzZgv

U can choise the version u prefer:
