The Harbor Friend 2" saw is designed for use with... wait for it... 2" saw blades.
However, the 3" grinding blade is very useful for certain things - like cutting down .223 cases for loading 300 Blackout. This guard replaces the stock guard with a 3" compatible guard.
Use at your own risk.
