This is just a quick and dirty test, to see if it would be possible to make a shoe with better visibility.

I imagine a setup where you could print cones in different heights, and snap on the one you need depending on how deep you need to go in the stock.

I turned the shoe upside down, covered the hole, and glued on a 25mm tall cone.
