Deserted Island Lesson

Within any unit of learning, students are often asked to demonstrate their understanding of a topic or concept. The process of evaluating and selecting an object to have on the island will encourage students to empathize with the situation, and think critically about problems they might encounter on the island, and how to address those problems. Further taking that object and designing and then 3D printing it, will allow students practice with visualization, creation, and evaluation skills.
