Carbon Cub Float mounting

I bought the original floats for the Carbon Cub. But the preowner of my plane glued the gear rod into the fuselage. This points more to the back. Bowing it into the original holder wouldn't work well. So I copied the holder and made it a bit more rugged, as I dön't trust the PLA much.
I don't know how the original part is bullt at the lower part. I put a nose there for better hold. I cut a groove with a hot wire. But be careful, the material is not very thick there. So I put some PU glue into t
