wires to be added to each end as well as black electrical tape to give the appearance of being taped together

There are two versions of the timer:
the solid timer blocks have all the button fixed and will not move,
the hollow timer can be fixed with a LED screen and pressure switches,
alliteratively a sponge can be added to give the button movement.
