This is designed to work with a 22mm ⌀ diameter bearing (on mine I got a really good press fit). Which are usually ~6-7mm thick meaning that the two layers of a 3mm material will be the correct thickness.

You will need an 8mm ⌀ diameter dowel for the centre.

Keep the larger centre cutout from each and attach to the dowel. You will need some sort of thin spacer (eg washer) for this step.
