I designed this to be able to set the 3ds xl into the charging dock and have it immediately begin charging. Works everytime for mine.
A few notes:
-Tolerances are tight for the width of the device because they have to be for alignment. Your device will not fit if you have a case and it may or may not damage a skin if you have one.
-Because it is 3d printed it is a little light. Use two hands or drill 1" holes in the bottom and super glue a whole mess of weights until it stays. I just us
