This part is made to attach to a prosthetic hand adapter with a universal base that was created by SPU engineers. The base is octagonal and snaps into place in the adapter. The part contains a wedge-shaped indentation so that playing cards can be placed into it and securely held during a card game. It allows the prosthetic hand to be used during long games without needing to contract muscles to hold the cards.
