Straight connector between a Numatic vacuum with small hose (Henry style) and a Makita BO5031 random orbital sander. Requires 1mm thick rubber sheet or perhaps some thick, rubbery tape, to improve the seal and grip the sander vacuum port.

Fold the rubber sheet over the lip of the body and press the cap down over the top to lock it in place.
