pillar tap strengthener

When fitting a new pillar tap do you often find it wobbles and isn't very sturdy?
this thingy takes care of it, either with using metal straping or just screwing it to the worktop under the sink.
made at 31mm but can be increased, I increased it to 103% for a lose fit.
