This encoder is parametrized. It is written in OpenSCAD.
It has two stripes near the edge. Each has 48 slits. Both strips are aligned asymmetrically to produce different phase-lag when wheel rotates in different directions. Moreover the open and close area of each strip are not equal to each other.
