On my IKEA Beddinge sleeping couch one of the plastic caps underneath that hold the lats in place burst open and one of them slid out because its end gave out.

So i just propped this up and replaced the other one, fits super snugly in place and is stronger than all the other parts, no complaints, the couch is in use daily.
