When installing the Micro Swiss hot end upgrade MS calls for 1.7mm sticking up out of the cooling block. I made a simple jig that goes over top to easily visualize the setting. I have it set for 1.6mm because +/- .1mm will not affect performance. It came out of my printer at 1.65 so it was perfect for me. This can be used with either the stock block or the MS replacement slotted block. When the top of the tube is flush with the top of the jig, tighten it up!
