This is a functional cannon that fires 1/2 inch steel balls. It also just looks cool. Modeled after a ship cannon, it can fire the steel ball up to 60 mph (using homemade gunpowder, commercial is probably even better). It is 7 and a half inches long and has a built in valve that blocks the fuse hole after fuse burns through, allowing all of the energy released by the gunpowder to be used to accelerate the ball.
