I tried several different fruit fly traps, but this one worked the best. The only problem is the peg broke off in the hole, so I had to tape it together. Needless to say, it wasn't as secure as I'd like.

For bait, use what most of these traps use: a piece of fruit or apple cider vinegar. I've also noticed that my old red bull cans seem to draw them in, and have had surprising success with using red bull. Not the typical bait, but who knows!
