When I replaced my cars lightswitch (black -> silver) I thought "what could I do with the old one?" So I deciced to mount it in my wall to switch my living room lamp on and off.
The hole in the wall where the original switch was mounted was bigger then the car switch, so I had to design a bezel.
Be careful by switching high current! And make sure your light switch can handle the amperage! I exclude all liability.
