I used these with a 4' piece of 2x2x1/4" steel angle iron to straighten the cheap Chinese linear rails that I bought for my Hypercube Evolution. Jig everything up as shown in the picture with a dial indicator and gently pry the rods to straighten them. It will take about 30 minutes per rod so have some patience.
Bearings will be a tight press fit. Use a couple wood blocks and a vice to install.
