Table Lock

Owning a split table that pulls apart to make it bigger (by inserting a center piece), I have been frustrated by it coming apart by itself with the least amount of pressure applied to one side of it, exposing a gap in the middle. I searched Thingiverse for locking clasps but was unable to find one I felt was appropriate. So I designed this myself from scratch.

You mount each piece so that the clasp can turn (it can be quite firm) thus preventing the table from coming accidentally apart. I
